BTP - 1996 Starter Dallas Cowboys

We'd like to tell you the story behind the sweater. The sweater celebrates the Dallas Cowboys' 1996 Super Bowl victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This Super Bowl was the 30th of its kind and also the last Super Bowl the Cowboys have won to date. The victory can also be seen as the end of a Cowboys era, as with this Super Bowl win they took their third within four years. But perhaps the team from Dallas can celebrate a success this year and leave the stadium with the coveted Lombardi Trophy.

What was special about the encounter between the two teams was that they set a joint record. No other two teams have faced each other in the Super Bowl as often as the Steelers and the Cowboys, namely three times.

Perhaps a good sign: Super Bowl XXX was the first Super Bowl to take place in Arizona. And this year's Super Bowl is also taking place in Arizona again - perhaps a good omen to break the curse.
