For enthusiasts, by enthusiasts – that's the motto here! The idea for Double Double Vintage arose from a shared passion for vintage clothing, for the NBA & US sports in general, and for the music and pop culture of the 90s & 00s. What started in 2018 in Niklas' grandparents' basement with endless flea market weekends has evolved quite a bit. With great dedication, we continue to unearth treasures from the past and make more people aware of the advantages of vintage clothing.

Why Vintage?

For us, there's no better feeling than finding that one vintage T-shirt you've never seen before and didn't even know existed. Every vintage item is unique and has a story. Whether it's the print, the elaborate embroidery, or the perfectly faded shade that modern fashion companies desperately try to reproduce. In contrast to today's fashion, the 90s were all about quality. That's why you'll find a lot of "Made in USA," heavy cotton fabrics, and high-quality materials in our products. So for us, it makes no sense that an item should fundamentally be less valuable just because it has been worn before, when it is actually much more special than most new goods today. And we haven't even started talking about sustainability.

Travel Back in Time!

Our selection is curated with great passion and care. We source our items from all over Europe and beyond. While our focus is on vintage sportswear from brands like Nike, adidas, Reebok, Fila, & Co, as well as rarities from the US sports sector (NFL, NBA & Co), you will also find many unique pieces with pop cultural references, such as from TV series, film, music and more. In addition, there are plenty of college jackets & sweaters, vintage Carhartt, classic brands like Polo or Tommy, as well as a selection of Y2K stuff!

Vintage vs. Second Hand

While many equate the two terms, there is a big difference within the scene. While second-hand simply refers to any type of used clothing regardless of age, a genuine vintage piece should be at least 15 years old. Compared to second-hand stores, our vintage shop offers a carefully curated selection of unique items from the 90s and 2000s. Each of our items is hand-selected by us and requires a good deal of time and care before it goes online. Washing, sorting, photographing, and uploading are all part of a comprehensive process that an item goes through to ensure you get the best possible shopping experience. We are happy for everyone who understands how much effort it is to run an online shop with unique items and that our unique selection of products has a special value for us and many others.
