MWCB - "Jingle Hoops"

It hasn't been that long, but 9 years ago the NBA gave us one of the most legendary sports commercials of recent times with "Jingle Hoops". In this commercial for the Christmas Day Uniforms, we see Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, James Harden, Steve Nash and LeBron James shooting (and dunking) to the tune of Jingle Bells.

But to immediately break the illusion: Yes, there was some help with the commercial. However, the NBA made no secret of it, because the behind-the-scenes of the now iconic commercial was released on the same day.

Although the commercial is only 9 years old, and thus still quite young compared to the other commercial breaks we've featured in the past, it still evokes a bit of a retro feeling. You can still see Steve Nash as a player for the Lakers, Kevin Durant in an OKC jersey, James Harden in a Rockets jersey, Derrick Rose in a Bulls jersey and LeBron in a Heat jersey. Only Steph Curry hasn't changed, he still plays for the Golden State Warriors.
