Being one of the best players in Duke history, he won the two NCAA championships with the Blue Devils in 91 & 92.

After being drafted by the Detroit Pistons in 1994 he played six seasons for the “Motor City” and had amassed a total of:  9.393 points, 3.417 assists and 2.720 rebounds

There are only three other players in history to eclipse these numbers after their first six seasons: Oscar Robertson, Larry Bird and (of course) LeBron James.

Many people expected him to be the next Jordan but the greatness was cracked after many injuries through the years…

His signing with Fila over Nike or adidas caught people by surprise and soon took over the industry by storm.

Fila debuted the Grant Hill signature line in the ‘90s. It released a total of five sneakers and remains a favorite in the sneaker community.

The Hill line was one of the mire successful sneaker lines at a time when Air Jordan, adidas and Reebok were a major part of the competition.

Following his introduction into the Basketball Hall of Fame Hill signed a lifetime endorsement deal contract with Fila.

After his retirement in 2013 Hill went on as a sports broadcaster on different shows including “NBA Inside Stuff”
